Chef's Book is designed to allow you to record the food you cook and to share the recipes with other Chef's Book users. As a universal application it is designed to take advantage of each devices abilities. With the iPhone you can use the camera to illustrate your recipes, on the iPad you have the screen real estate to use it as a reference in the kitchen.
It is designed to be your recipe book, as such a handful of recipes are included to get you started. Of course you can always find more and share them with your friends.
Recipes within the application are organised into categories you create, each category can have an icon taken from your library or camera. Existing categories can be edited and deleted. Management tools allow you to merge categories or move individual recipes around; thus allowing you to organise your Chef's Book how you want it.
Once shared recipes remain fully editable encouraging collaboration and experimentation. Recipes are currently exchange via email. More community based features are planned for the near future alongside functionality updates such as PDF emailing and printing.
